July 21We did a song writing clinic recently. Gilby came over and gave us a track to write to. We broke up into teams and were given a time limit. I will say that it was very stressful at first, trying to write a song with 3 other people that I’ve never written with before, but when it was all said and done I was excited with our end result. Afterwards we all got to hear new tracks that Supernova have recorded without vocals.
I’m finally excited about potentially singing for them. Fu**ing yeah Bitch!! 20 luglio July 18Holy sh*t! Jason played bass with me during my performance. Can't say I saw that coming. Most of us thought that when they told us a member of Supernova was going to be playing during one of our performances that it was going to be Tommy Lee on “Fortunate Son.” I had actually forgotten it was going to happen. It was a great birthday present. On top of all that, I killed It!!
July 15Song selection was pretty intense this week. We tried to make it democratic but it didn't really work out that way. I ended up with “White Rabbit” by Jefferson Airplane.
I think a lot of people think I’m gonna f it up but they'll see. I'm gonna really step it up this week. Very excited! 14 luglio July 6I miss my girlfriend.
We had our first elimination show and I found myself in the bottom three. Not particularly a good feeling. That moment before Brooke called my name I just knew it was going to be me. She somehow physically projected my name to me before she said it. I’m going to have to ask her to stop doing that.
Luckily, I rose to the occasion and I wasn’t sent home. This next week I think I’m going to try to just plant my feet and sing my song. June 28Last night I feel like we all bonded and got to know each a lot better. The beer and wine was flowing freely and so were the moments that when added up is surely going to make this the most memorable summer of all our lives. At one point of the evening I was looking out over the city and I remember thinking “holy s*it, how blessed I am to be here right now.” It’s too much to wrap my head around right now. |
